Site Layouts
The first Spat and Harmony Heartbreak layout. I made the banner in ms paint so it wasn't a very good looking one but hey, it's my first try. I used a blue template from freewebs. I got this idea from Hamtaro Ham-Ham Heartbreak. I didn't have a lot of pages back then and no one came until later when I made the other Spat and Harmony Heartbreak site.
The second layout of the site. The banner is made in Paint.NET and I think the pictures were pasted in ms paint but I'm not sure. The heart pictures are from google and pasted onto the banner. I think the banner came out good but I wasn't to pleased about the freewebs template so it didn't laste to long. There wasn't a picture beside the site title cause of the picture that I chose blocked the S in Spat and it came out "pat" so if I left the picture there the title will be "pat and Harmony Heartbreak" and that is so wrong. So that's why, I soon went back to the first layout on the first Spat and Harmony Heartbreak site.
The third layout called Spat Tower and yes I got the idea from Hamtaro Ham-Ham Heartbreak when Hamtaro and Bijou fight Spat at Spat Tower which I think is he's secret base since he said so in the game. When I made the banner in mspaint the Spat pictures that I pasted turned red and black. It's the most awesome banner that I ever made and I was so pleased with it too. I made the layout all evil and awesome just like Spat. This is a Spat layout if you don't know ;D I'll be making more better Spat layouts in the future.
Spat and Harmony Heartbreak's fourth layout! I got this idea from Tottoko Hamutaro Ep. 130 which looks like a castle so I called it "Harmony Castle".This is a layout for the cute angel hamster, Harmony. A pretty and nice theme with different colors of pink and different colors of blue and other colors for the text. I was still using Freewebs templates back then and I think I made this layout somewhere in June or July.
My first ever html layout which I learned html to make it. The site menu and the content was bad since it's my first try. I liked the colors but it was kind of plain looking though. I always had to space the text so it won't go all over the layout and then it'll really look bad. I first made this layout with Freeweb's layouts on my old Spat and Harmony Heartbreak site but that's when everything got messed up and closed it so no one will see my horrible webmistress skills. The title came out of my head when I thought of making a 5th one, it made me think of why Spat was blushing at Harmony in Ep. 130, then I thought of what if they had a little or a big crush on each other and didn't want to tell no one cause maybe they were both shy to tell or because they are enimes. I guess that's a secret that will never be solved.
As I got better at making layouts I made a new and improved layout this is about the season of autumn (or Fall for short). I downloaded a 30 day trial of Adobe Photoshop CS and used that to make the beautiful colored leaves. When this layout was introduced I made a lot of changes on some of the pages which made a big update when this layout came. For the splash, I used a script from Lisa explains it all to make the leaves fall. It felt very cozy like that and I wanted to add more things to decorate to make it look like the outside world in autumn.
A more advanced layout for the season of winter. A little bit more advanced than the previous layout so it wasn't much of a differance. I also used some of the 30 day trail of Adobe Photoshop CS for this layout also to make the background of the main image and other things. For the splash, I used the same script from the previous layout except snowflakes instead of leaves to make the snowflakes fall. Somewhere in December I made an accident and used the background image content, used it on the story image "Hamtaro - A Snowy Mountain Adventure". And it missed up the background image content so I had to find a different winter image to replace it. When this layout was still up, I made a Spat and Harmony Heartbreak Forums and I've found some fun things to put on my site like, puzzles, and free layouts. I know free layouts isn't something to but in the fun stuff calorie but, oh well. The drawing board as been also gone for people messing up other people's work and a lot more mischief came on the board so, it was final. The drawing board had got to go! I made a poll to see how many people wanted the board off the site and how many people wanted it left on. The higher votes where to take the board off the site so, I did since it was the highest vote.
The site's first Valentine's day layout that features the lovable hamster of love, Harmony. Before this layout appeared I had to put the site on hiatus featuring this adorable hiatus page. The layout came out very good for a lovely hoilday <3 It was filled with different colors of pink and red for the font. Valentine's Day was almost on the way and I this romantic holiday will match with Harmony completely but not Spat. This is SHHB's first three column layout, I almost gave up on trying to do one since I messed up but I tried using a three column layout on my Melon's Island site to test it out and it worked perfectly. I tried using the code that I used on Melon's Island and it worked just as it did on Melon's Island. I thought it looked plain looking so I quickly made a heart shaped icon just for the layout on both sides of the header. And the hearts worked perfect with the layout but I kind of got annoyed with them once it was time to move on to a new layout XD
Since Valentine's day is over, it's time for some mischief and sadness (not really XD) with the devil hamster and heartbreaker, Spat. Before this layout was up I had to put the site on hiatus. I thought Spat's theme will look really awesome with blue lightning pictures. And I almost gave up on overlaying pictures of Spat on to the blue lightning background when I almost overlayed the whole main image of the layout with GIMP but likely I didn't until I figured out how to do the same thing on Paint.Net =D I felt so proud of myself since I learned how to overlay pictures. I always wanted to learn how to do that but didn't know now until how, so now my main layout pictures will be ever better than before! Lots of people loved the layout! I'm so glad everyone enjoyed the layout, I feel so proud inside when people enjoy my hard work, thanks guys! <3
This layout is about a new Spat and Harmony music video that I'll be making called Fight the Power. I plan to make it the bestest music video that I ever made. The layout is a free layout from a Pokemon site. I just put the top image in and edit a few things. It's a kind of new style then the other layouts since I have a three column layout in the left side instead of the middle where I usually put the layouts at. The colors are kind of similar to the 6th layout except with different kind of shades of red, orange, and yellow.
I always wanted to do a rainbow style layout which came out to be perfect for the next Harmony layout. I finally styled my headers better, so now they have a pretty rainbow box :D I learned more about making layouts while working on this layout. I just wish that the font was rainbow instead of blue >.< which I have no idea how to do that. Many of the visitors loved how the layout was rainbowly as Andre says XD That's pretty much it about the layout. This one is the only layout that I made so far that had a colored scrollbar when viewed with Internet Explorer. Also a ticker which has moving words that start to the right. I wanted to try something different in my layouts to see how they look using the colored scrollbar and the ticker.
Here is another Spat layout. I love this layout <3 (even know it's a little plain looking) it's so improved than the other Spat layouts! ^^ I made the banner using a few Gimp brush which is how I got the lighting and cloud effects. Not much to say since I'm running out of ideas to type down about each layout. |
